The backing of flocking leather has long hair and short hair, which varies according to industry requirements. Flocking leather has different names in various industries. Some are called recycled leather, long-hair flocking, short-hair flocking, and cowhide powder. There is also a kind of imitation cow suede flocking leather; one side is planted with genuine leather scraps, and the other side is a knitted cloth base. It is suitable for shoes, such as snow boots and leather boots, and is also used to produce clothes.

Flocking leather has a lot of colors that can be customized and is widely used. It can be used for flocking inflatable beds, inflatable toys, high-frequency embossing, Christmas bows, hand-pulled flowers, gift packaging, handbags, shoes, stationery, furniture, etc.
3. Is flocking leather real leather?
Flocked leather is generally thick and its appearance and base fabric are very similar to genuine leather, but actually they are two different materials. Flocking leather is a kind of artificial leather, with PU leather or PVC leather on the surface and genuine leather powders on the base fabric. The sales unit is the meter and the width is 1.4m, usually 30 to 40 meters per piece, and the specific packaging method depends on the requirements of clients. Genuine leather is made from a whole piece of animal skin, and the sales unit is square feet, usually 60 to 80 square feet per piece. It depends on the size of the animal’s skin.
